8th Annual Cornell NYC Iftar
For the 8th year in a row, the Cornell Iftar Planning Committee is excited to be inviting you to our NYC iftar on May 31st. This year, we are collaborating with the Chai Spot to host our iftar.
The Chai Spot is a socially conscious, cause based initiative – With a goal to provide NYC with the best Chai in a unique setting, 50% of the cafe’s profits go towards supporting women and children in Pakistan through educational and training projects. Through the Chai Spot and the associated, Sughar Foundation, the founder Khalida Brohi has successfully opened two schools in rural Pakistan, as well as helped support multiple small businesses run by women in the region.
We look forward to using this unique setting to help reconnecting!
